Badb's Invocation of Forgiveness

No one looked,

No one knew.

Where does one go when missing?

Are you still missing if no one reports it?

What does it mean to be a motherless child?

What is it called to have no one report you as missing because your mother sold you?

I prefer the motherless child.

The shame and guilt is buried into my gut, and it's not mine to carry.

I purge it,

I release it.

I surrender the belief that I deserved to be abused.

That wasn't my truth,

Nor should it be any child's truth to be abused.

To deserve "that" is the story of my little girl's control mechanism.

This is how the innocence and sweetness of childhood makes sense in a dark and scary reality.

My virginity is not theirs to place blame on.

It is not at fault.

Dear one, you can disarm your control tactics.

I'm here to protect (you/us).

I am Badb, it's time to draw my sword from the sheath of (y)our spine.

Blessed by archangel Michael,

and witnessed by the hawk's soar.
